Still Life

These are the results of the still life assignment for my photography class.  I wanted to capture flowers in traditional north-facing window light, but then the vase tipped over on the soft bed, leading to something less expected.

Golden Hour

My nephew loves the waves.  Taken with my Rollei TLR and Kodak Portra 800 film.

Beach at Dusk

After the blazing midday, after the sunset, after the golden hour.  Dusk.

Captured with my Rolleiflex TLR and Kodak Portra 800 film at around 8:30 p.m.

I enjoy evenings and nights on the beach because the bright midday sun always burns my skin.

p.s. Loving the beach polaroids by Gabrielle Kai.

Two More Portraits

Here are two more portraits from my afternoon hanging out with my friends Holly and Chika.  These two are my favorites of all,  from my Mamiya 645 Pro and Kodak Portra 800 film.

See also my Rolleiflex and Polaroid photos from this day.

I'm bitten by the people-photographing bug.  I want to make more portraits this weekend...
